A Dramatically Eye Catching Wall-art followed with a Drench of a BlackPink Madness.

Baniyas, Abu Dhabi – UAE

This Luxury Residential Interior Design project was conceived around a bold relationship between art, colour and atmosphere. The wall art became the starting point of the space, setting a dramatic visual language that was carried through the interior in unexpected ways.

Black and pink were deliberately pushed beyond simple accents, creating a strong contrast between darkness, intensity and playfulness. The result is a luxury residential interior design that does not try to be quiet, it embraces its personality.

Above, a fibre-optic ceiling introduces another layer to the experience, creating a field of light that adds depth and movement to the space. A specialised ceiling paint was sourced from Japan to achieve the desired finish, allowing the surface and lighting to become part of the overall composition.

Art was central to the character of the interior. Francisco Goya’s Witches’ Flight and Joseph Wright of Derby’s A Philosopher Lecturing on the Orrery were introduced as powerful visual references, bringing together two very different worlds of darkness, curiosity, mystery and light.

Alongside the artwork, 44 picture frames were arranged above the bed, intentionally designed to hold childhood photographs. What could have been simply a decorative wall became something much more intimate, a collection of memories woven into the room and given a place within the composition.

The contrast between the dramatic artworks, the personal photographs, the BlackPink palette and the luminous ceiling creates an interior that is theatrical yet deeply personal.

It is not simply a space designed to be looked at, but one designed to hold stories.
